Pastor Michael German, Sr., a native Memphian has a passion for teaching and preaching the word of God.

In 1992 Pastor Michael German, Sr. was called to the ministry. He received his Certificate of License to “The Gospel Ministry” by his pastor and father, Pastor Willie German, Jr. on February 20, 1994.

In January 1999, Pastor Michael German, Sr. was ordained as a minister. After his ordination, God led Pastor German to begin The Holy Temple Urban Connectional Church.

At the unexpected death of his father Reverend Willie German, Jr. in 2005, Pastor Michael German, Sr. was officially appointed the pastor of Holy Temple MBC now affectionately known as Holy Temple Ministries.
